SonoSite's core mission was to make ultrasound truly portable, changing medical practice forever. However, before the iPhone came the Apple Newton & Palm Pilot, and we understood that we also needed to get a test product to market before we could make our vision real (without the massive development costs that nearly sank Apple). iLook was developed on a shoestring, yet it brought the idea of the "ultrasonic stethoscope" to reality.

David and his team partnered with User Research to strip ultrasound down to its core - delivering quality images in a simple to use device, operated with one hand.
