Dell XPS Line
Dell, 2005
Dell was known as the maker of cheap, basic, sometimes ugly PCs. This approach limited any chance for success in the consumer market, and the XPS line was intended to change that perception. David was respon-sible for the design of the product line at launch, with a new focus on materials and experience: chrome, rubberized paint, aluminum details, multi-media controls etc.
