Cucina was designed to bring PCs to a place in the home where information is truly valuable: the kitchen. David led the design team to create a series of kitchen PC concepts that mix information technology with the warmth and natural materials of the hub of the home. The long-term impact was in helping Microsoft understand and  transition to the simple, touch-based computing model that was underway.
